I had been involved in the networking cabling industry and had never heard of J-Hooks for cable – always using runways, conduit or the like as that’s what I learned from the textbooks. My god was I behind the times.

Simple J-Hooks – spaced out evenly will make your cable management so much easier. You can plop the cables in and out and installing them is a blip with the range of specially designed tools and attachments; allowing you to practically anything.

From attaching J-Hooks to concrete, wood, metal beams – super high ceiling, walls, flanges, ceiling wire or threaded rod – it’s all covered. If it’d known about this before I would have saved a hell of a lot of time and money.

The J-Hooks come in many different shapes and sizes, so depending on what your cable load is; but typically the larger ones are tested to hold over 200 cat 5e cables.

The Lagmaster pole is THE electrician’s only multipurpose extension pole tool for hanging:

- Wire
- Threaded Rod
- Smooth Rod
- Jack Chain
- … and Screws

It has a multitude of interchangeable heads which allows you to do pretty much any ceiling job with both feet planted firmly on ground. Ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and cherry pickers have been replaced by this ‘does-it-all’ pole tool. What ladders to cherry pickers cost you both in straight purchase, in time it took to do the job and problems in storage, the Lagmaster Pole Tool has outdone them all in cost, convenience, safety and expedience.

The Lagmaster pole tool is the electrician’s, computer network technician’s and builder’s pole tool. The unique plug-in heads makes it the most efficient tool of its kind.

Use it to install ceiling wire, jack chain, threaded rod, smooth rod and overhead screw installation. The pole can be powered with any 3/8 or 1/2″ battery operated or corded drill!

The lagmaster pole comes in different sizes.

For maximum flexibility and convenience, the available sizes are:

- Double 3′ = 6′ (for 11′ ceilings)
- Double 6′ = 12′ (for 18′ ceilings)
- Triple 4′ = 12′ (also for 18′ ceilings)
- Triple 6′ = 18′ (for 24′ ceilings)
- Triple 8′ = 24′ (for 30′ ceilings)

The flexibility in height is well suited for a typical shop or office building to the height of a full-scale warehouse or factory.

It’s as simple as putting the right head (or drill-bit) on, slotting in your screw,(such as the eye lag screw ) or whatnot in the head, attaching your power drill on the other side of the pole – pick it up, drill in your screw and hey-presto!

If you’ve never seen it before, you’ll find it quite simply amazing to watch. You’ll go “wow, why didn’t I think of that!” (when you did all those ceiling jobs with your arms, neck and back aching, face squashed to the ceiling, dust hitting your eyes regularly and generally a painfully slow job.

So if you’re an electrician running cable, a computer technician running network cable or a builder putting up suspended ceilings, give the lagmaster pole tool a try and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The Lagmaster Plus is the multipurpose extension pole tool. The unique plug-in heads make it the most efficient and multi-varied tool of its kind. Use it to install ceiling wire, jack chain, threaded rod, smooth rod, overhead screw installations and many more applications. Power the pole with any 3/8″ or 1/2″ drill (your standard drills).

The lagmaster Plus advantages are manyfold:

It’s one pole with many applications.

It increases safety by keeping your employees on the ground.

Made from black anodized aircraft quality aluminum – extremely sturdy.

It’s plug-in heads that make it multi-functional are kept securely in a plastic container with custom die cut foam.

Made in USA.

Following are instruction on how to use the Lagmaster Plus to hang Jack Chain as well as Ceiling Wire:

Using the Lagmaster Plus to hang Jack Chain:

The Lagmaster Plus can be used to hang jack chain safely from the floor. You’ll need eye lag screws, an S Hook and jack chain cut to the required length.

First of, lengthen your pole for your particular ceiling.

Use plyers to assemble the S Hook to the I-Lag screw and the jack chain.

The Lagmaster Plus has a slot where the jack chain goes into so it doesn’t whip around and cause possible damage when the pole is rotating.

Insert our proprietary Eye Lag Screw (the I-Lag) into the head of the Lagmaster Pole.

Insert your drill at the bottom of the Lagmaster Pole.

Now position the screw onto the ceiling – be it a wood beam or metal.

Screw it in slowly to prevent the chain from whipping.

…. then lower the pole.

Using the Lagmaster Plus to hang Ceiling Wire:

The Lagmaster Plus can be used to hang ceiling wire safely from the floor.

You’ll need eye lag screws, ceiling wire cut to the required length and the Lagmaster Plus pole.

Take up to 10 ceiling wires and bend them over at about a 90 degree angle – insert them into the slot of the pole.

Take an Eye Lag Screw and push it into the head of the Lagmaster pole.

Take one of the ceiling wires, thread it through the eye of the screw and bend it down on the other side of the pole.

Now position the screw onto the ceiling – be it a wood beam or metal.

Once the eye lag screw has been screwed in completely, pull the pole down so it doesn’t have the screw in it’s head any longer but still both sides of the ceiling wire. Turn the pole again while lower it slowly and the wire will twist around itself securing it to the eye lag screw.
